Prayer Book and Honey Pot Pickup
We will have a digital prayer “flipbook” on our website to use during virtual services, or you can pick up prayer books from temple or locations in Orinda or Walnut Creek on:
Tuesday, August 31 from 5:00 – 7:00pm or
Thursday, September 2 from 5:00 – 7:00pm
For specific addresses, please register below and the address will be sent to you.
If you are picking up from the temple, no registration is required. Honey pots will be available for pickup at the temple as well as Orinda and Walnut Creek—please bring gift tickets. Create & Celebrate boxes will need to be picked up from temple.
If you are physically unable to pickup prayer books, we can arrange for them to be delivered to you. Please email email@example.com to arrange delivery.
Prayer books may be returned to the temple after Yom Kippur Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm through September 30. Please do not return prayer books to other locations.
Non-member participation in our services is always welcome.
Our members, who support our Temple year-round, absorb the overwhelming costs of our High Holy Day services. To help defray some of the costs, we ask non-members who can contribute to do so.
In the past years we have asked for a suggested donation of $250 per person.
We know that this is another exceptional year and we do not want finances to stand in the way of anyone joining us for services or from participating in our community. Please make a donation that is meaningful to you.
The cost of a non-member ticket can later be applied toward Temple Sinai membership if you decide to join before the end of the calendar year.
Contributions for High Holy Day virtual tickets are fully tax-deductible.
Record a Video Greeting!
We are creating a video montage (or "Tribute") for the High Holy Days again this year. It will only take you a minute to film and submit your video and be a part of our community greeting! Greetings should be brief. Thirty seconds to one-minute messages are best! Deadline is September 10.
